Terms and privacy

Welcome to EnchantedGems.co.uk. By using this website you agree to the terms below. Please read them before you order or send us personal details. Questions can be sent to (01202) 529250 or [email protected].

General information

EnchantedGems.co.uk is operated by Enchanted Gems Limited, registered in the United Kingdom, company number 15424415, VAT number GB 247160514. The shop address is 105 Commercial Rd., Bournemouth BH2 5RT. If you have any questions about these terms, please contact us on (01202) 529250.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or do anything that could damage or impair how it works. We may refuse service or block access if these terms are breached.

All content on this website — text, images, logos and designs — is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or exploit it without prior written consent.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the website or from products purchased. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud caused by our negligence.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Products, orders and delivery

We make every effort to keep descriptions, images and prices accurate. Errors can still happen. Prices are listed in GBP and may change at any time without notice. All products are subject to availability.

Pre-order items carry an approximate arrival date. That date is set by the manufacturer, not by us, and we are not responsible for delays. Pre-orders and special orders are non-refundable.

By placing an order you offer to buy the goods on these terms. We may refuse or cancel an order. Payment is taken in full at purchase through the methods offered, including Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, American Express and Klarna.

Delivery times are estimates. We are not responsible for delays outside our control, such as a courier delay. Risk of loss passes to you when the goods are delivered.

Returns and refunds

You may return most items within 14 days of receipt, in line with UK consumer rights. Items should be unused, in their original packaging, and returned at your expense unless they are faulty. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.

All pre-orders and special orders are non-refundable. If an item is the wrong size or faulty, we may exchange it for the correct size or for a piece that is not faulty.

Workshop repairs and gold and silver purchases agreed at the counter follow the quote you accepted in store. Ask before you leave if you want that quote in writing.

Privacy

Enchanted Gems Limited is the controller for personal data collected through this site and through orders, supplies and enquiries. Your privacy matters. This note explains, in plain language, the policy published for enchantedgems.co.uk.

We may hold identity details such as your name, contact details including billing and delivery addresses, email and telephone numbers, financial details needed to take payment, and transaction records of what you bought. Technical data can include the IP address used to connect, browser type, time zone and how you move through the site. If you register, we may also keep a username and your contact preferences.

You give us information when you fill in a form, register, or write, phone or email. We also collect technical information automatically on each visit. We may receive information from payment, delivery and analytics providers who help us run the shop, and we tell those providers to use it only for the job we gave them. We do not sell or rent your details to other companies for their marketing.

We use personal data to perform a contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running a secure shop, and where the law requires it. Typical uses are fulfilling an order, taking payment, answering a question, telling you about a change to a policy, troubleshooting the site, and understanding which pages are useful. We keep data only as long as those purposes, and the law, require. Basic customer records are kept for six years after you stop being a customer, for tax.

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, erasure, a restriction, or a transfer of data you provided. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can object to direct marketing at any time, including by using the unsubscribe link in an email. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on it. We usually respond within one month. We may need to confirm who you are before we release anything. There is normally no fee, unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.

To use these rights, email [email protected]. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would like the chance to put things right first.

This website may link to other sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page.
